200 (two hundred) is used as the base of all googologisms by Lawrence Hollom. A faxul, for example, is equal to 200!, or the factorial of 200.[1]
CompactStar (previously named Nirvana Supermind) coined zero-vicenol and binary-zeroogol for this number, and is equal to Q<2,100> = Q<10,20> in quick array notation.[2]
DeepLineMadom calls the numbers unoogolnoniplex and boo-icol.[3]
ARsygo coined hectargum-unalum for this number, and is equal to \(f_1(100)\) using fast-growing hierarchy.[4]
In Maltese, it is called “mitejn”.[5]
In the game Ordinal Markup: Factor Shift Edition Minus, this is the smallest number the player must reach before they can preform an Infinity, and is equal to \(H_{\omega}(100)\) using the Hardy hierarchy.[6]
Properties[]
- Its factors are 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 10, 20, 25, 40, 50, 100 and 200, making it a composite number.[7][8][9]
- 200 is an even number[10][11] .
- 200 is an unhappy number.[12][13]
- 200 is abundant.[14]
- Its prime factorization is 23 × 52.
Some currencies, such as the euro, the Israeli new shekel, the Swiss franc, the Brazilian real and the Venezuelan bolívar have banknotes with this number in the denomination.
Some currencies, such as the Hungarian forint and the Indonesian rupiah, have coins with this number in the denomination.
It is also the prize for correctly answering the first two questions in some national editions of the game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? in the respective local currency, and the prize for correctly answering the first three questions in the German game show Wer wird Millionär? in euros.
Finally, section 200 of the Irish Copyright and Related Rights Act, 2000 provides for perpetual copyright protection of Irish currency designs and forbids any use of it without explicit permission from the relevant authorities.
In chess
It is also the number of possible rook moves in 5×5 minichess.
In sports
Since at most one team from the Oceania Football Confederation may qualify for the FIFA World Cup, it is also the number of possible combinations of FIFA confederations for the first three places.
Coincidentally, there are currently 200 non-OFC members in FIFA.
