Etymology[]
"Mochi" originally means a traditional food in Japan made from some sort of rice. A "mochi ice cream" is an ice cream analogue of mochi, but is more similar to other Japanese foods "daifuku" or "manju". "Mango mochi" is a variant of mochi ice cream using mango.
