The tetenpent is equal to s(5,5,5,5) in strong array notation.[1] It can be represented in chained arrow notation as \(5\rightarrow5\rightarrow5\rightarrow5\rightarrow5\rightarrow5\rightarrow5\).

This number is also equal to s(5,5,1,6), s(5,1,1,7), s(5,5,1,1,2), s(5,1,1,2,2), or s(5,1,1,1,1,2).

Etymology[]

The name of this number is based on Greek prefixes tetra- and penta- (four and five), meaning that there are 4 5's in the array.

Approximations[]

Notation Approximation
Bowers' Exploding Array Function \(\{5,6,4,5\}\)
Chained arrow notation \(5\rightarrow5\rightarrow5\rightarrow5\rightarrow5\rightarrow5\rightarrow5\) (exact)
Hyper-E notation \(E2\#\#2\#\#2\#\#1\#1\#1\#1\#5\)
Hyperfactorial array notation \(5![5,4]\)
Fast-growing hierarchy \(f_{\omega4+4}(5)\)
Hardy hierarchy \(H_{\omega^{\omega4+4}}(5)\)
Slow-growing hierarchy \(g_{\varphi(3,3,0)}(5)\)
